he Italian Voluntary Flight Federation (FIVL) is a private law firm based in Turin [1] whose purpose is to promote the practice of free flying without motor and to coordinate its competitive activity in Italy. In fact, it brings together sportsmen who are dedicated to flying freerolls, paragliders and, for some years, also those who practice sports, wire and traction kayaking. Associates are gathered in local sporting associations. The FIVL publishes on its own the monthly “Free Flight” newsletter.
